Admirez la végétation luxuriante de ces monts et vallées abreuvés des eaux, parfois calmes ou vives, du torrent du Giffre. Dans ce cadre idyllique, de nombreuses activités s’offrent à nos locataires, qu’ils soient aventuriers dans l’âme ou simples contemplateurs de la nature. Bercés par le climat doux et ensoleillé de la région, les amoureux de randonnées s’offriront des promenades à couper le souffle. À pied, VTT ou cheval, marchez face aux Alpes et allez d’un refuge à l’autre ou parcourez la rive du torrent du Giffre à votre rythme. Un autre jour, nos visiteurs peuvent partir se rafraîchir et s’amuser au bord du Lac Bleu… Baignades, parties de pêche et farniente sur sa plage de sable fin sont de mises… Ceux pour qui aventure et montagne sont indissociables ne sont pas déçus : rafting, canyoning, escalade, accrobranche ou même parapente auront de quoi leur mettre des étoiles plein les yeux… D’ailleurs leur a-t-on parlé de la vue magnifique que l’on a sur la Voie Lactée la nuit en montagne ?

Summer Activities
In summer, our guests come to take a breath of fresh air in Morillon, a peaceful family resort in Haute-Savoie and a little corner of paradise for those who love wide open spaces and freedom.
The advantages of Chalet Pura Vida in summer
Admire the lush vegetation of these mountains and valleys filled with water, sometimes calm or brisk, from the Giffre torrent. In this idyllic setting, many activities are available to our tenants, whether they are adventurers at heart or simple contemplators of nature. Lulled by the mild and sunny climate of the region, hiking lovers will enjoy breathtaking walks. On foot, mountain bike or horseback, walk facing the Alps and go from one refuge to another or explore the bank of the Giffre torrent at your own pace. Another day, our visitors can go and refresh themselves and have fun on the shores of Lac Bleu... Swimming, fishing and relaxing on its fine sand beach are in order... Those for whom adventure and mountains are inseparable will not be disappointed: rafting, canyoning, climbing, tree climbing or even paragliding will bring stars to their eyes... Besides, have we told them about the magnificent view we have of the Milky Way at night in the mountains?

Hiking :
Morillon is an ideal place for hikes or walks, on foot or by mountain bike, alone or accompanied by a guide. Walk
along the Giffre torrent or head towards La Bourgeoise which reveals an exceptional panorama of Mont
Blanc
Water activities near Morillon :
45 minutes from Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy, you can go for a boat trip there and practice sailing, water skiing and diving
.
Thrilling activities :
At Lac Bleu de Morillon, a treetop adventure course awaits you. For pure climbing, routes are available for
beginners or experienced climbers at the Tines rock or at the Dard wall. As a family, discover the surroundings of
Morillon by kayak during hikes and activities. In rafting, several courses are available to you depending on your level.
Adults or children, take a tandem paragliding flight for varying periods of time over
breathtaking landscapes. Courses over several days or helicopter flights are also possible.
Activities for young and old :
Visit the limestone rocks of the Devil's Bridge Gorges dug by the Dranse. 1 km away, an equestrian center offers
hikes, walks or horse riding courses. 40 minutes away, in Les Lindarets, the goat village can be discovered with the family. In the
Merlet animal park, 21 ha of pastures are home to more than 80 species of high mountain animals. The visit to the
Botanical Park of La Jaÿsinia offers you a 3 km walk through the 2,700 mountain plants.
